SAN DIEGO (AP) — America’s Cup rivals Alinghi of Switzerland and BMW Oracle Racing of the United States are still fighting over the venue with just more than two months to go before the first race between their giant multihulls.

The BOR 90, a 100-foot trimaran engineered and operated by BMW Oracle Racing , is the official American challenger for the 33rd Americas Cup , which takes place in February 2010. For BMW Oracle to win, they have to beat Alinghi, the reigning vessel from the United Arab Emirates

America’s Cup challenger unveils giant wing (AP via Yahoo! Sports)
America’s Cup challenger BMW Oracle Racing has unveiled what is believed to be the world’s largest wing, which it will test as a replacement for a traditional soft-sail rig on its monster trimaran. Complete with flaps, the wing will tower nearly 190 feet above the deck when it’s installed this week.

BMW engine debuts aboard America’s Cup challenger (AP via Yahoo! Sports)
America’s Cup challenger BMW Oracle Racing has taken its monster trimaran for its first sail since a BMW diesel engine was added to help trim the boat’s giant sails. Helmsman Jimmy Spithill said things went well Thursday aboard the 90-by-90-foot boat, which was recently modified to add the engine near the back of its main hull.
